Nigel founded the company after implementing a Management Buy Out of the SPEA UK, where he had been MD for 3 years prior to the MBO. With over 25 years experience of the electronics industry, Nigel has worked his way up from through a variety of enginnering roles to more senior management roles within an number of blue chip companies, most latterly Siemens and 3Com. His wide experience means that he is able to understand the challenges faced by FTSL's clients from a unique perspective and use this to successfully create and implement innovative test solutions. |

Chris Shergold

Originally working for SPEA UK, Chris has been with FTSL from the beginning. With over 25 years of experience in industry, he has been involved in the development and testing of products in a variety of roles and companies, working on many of the leading test platforms. As Engineering Manager, Chris has overall responsibility for the delivery of 3 key areas of the FTSL business: test services, customer training and applications work and contract services. |

Gary Brightman
Senior Test Development Engineer |
Gary joined the FTSL team in 2007 having worked for over 25 years in the test & measurement industry for companies
such as Racal and Aeroflex. He has worked on many ATE systems designs for the MOD as well as for major commercial
customers and has more recently specialised in Boundary Scan and functional testing of complex Digital and RF boards
for wireless communication applications.

Ian Keildson
Test & Application Technician |
Ian joined the company as Test and Applications Technician in 2005. Originally a sound engineer in South Africa, he came to the UK in 1980 and since then has worked in a number of positions related to manufacturing and testing of electronics. |

Maria Smith
Office Administrator |
Maria joined FTSL in July 2008 and is responsible for the day to day administration activities. |

Cheryl Rogers FCMA
Director & Company Secretary |
A co-founder of FTSL, Cheryl is a qualified accountant and a professional interim Finance Director. Although not involved in the day to day running of the company, she oversees the company's finances and provides Company Secretarial services on a part time basis. |
