XJTAG Boundary Scan Excellence
Our boundary scan testing services leverage XJTAG technology to provide advanced diagnostics and validation for circuit boards across a wide range of industries including Medical, Automotive, Defence, Consumer Electronics and more.
Boundary scan testing is ideal for boards with high component density, BGA devices, and complex interconnections where traditional testing methods may be limited. Whether you require testing for prototypes, low-volume production or high-volume manufacturing, our XJTAG expertise delivers precise diagnostics and comprehensive board validation.

Coverage Beyond the Probe
On a fine-pitch BGA the connections sit underneath the package, and on a dense double-sided assembly the test pads are often the first thing designed out to save area. At that point the limit on coverage stops being the tester and becomes the board.
Boundary scan uses the access the board already has. The JTAG chain built into the devices becomes the route in, letting us drive and observe nets no probe could reach — interconnect testing, BGA and high-density components, and fault isolation down to the net.
Working From Your Data
To deliver this service efficiently, we work with CAD data (ODB++ preferred), schematics, bills of materials and device datasheets.
Our experienced XJTAG engineers develop custom test programs tailored to your specific board requirements, rather than applying a generic template and reporting whatever it happens to find.
Results, Not Just a Verdict
Every engagement returns fully tested and validated PCBs, together with a custom XJTAG test program developed for your board, detailed diagnostic reports with fault analysis, and complete test coverage documentation.
Per-board test results and parameters are available if required, and where rework is needed it is carried out by IPC-trained technicians.
